Hello guys
After I lost almost all my fishes to what i considered ich or oodinum last year, I made a treatment with cupramine in a hospital tank and left the display with no fish for 3 months.
After that I introduced the only 3 remaining fishes to the DT.
My frustration begins now..
I bought a hepatus tang and left in QT for 4 weeks, with copper at 0,3mg/L for a 2 week period.
It came with no visible spots on its body but
in some point during this QT it showed some very few white spots over the body, possibly 3-5.
After the 4 week period, yesterday, I placed it at my DT and for my surprise the white spots reappeared, at the same locations over the body. Not more than 5 again.
My black occelaris showed a single white spot in the body in the same day.
I will post a video of the fishes and later will take some good pics with a pro camera.
Knowing the life cycle of the ich parasite I'm not sure it could be this disease, what are your opinions? Could it be something else?
If I introduced again the parasite in my DT i will again transport all my fishes to a hospital tank and do a full treatment and wait period, but that is not a cool thing to do, so I want to be as sure as possible.
Thank you for your opinion and help.
Regards from Brazil.
