Ich survivability in fresh water

Is there any data showing how long ich in the tomont stage can survive in purely fresh water and/or bleach water soak? I use Seachem ammonia badges during quarantine and would like to use them more than once. My thoughts were to soak them in fresh water for several days.....

Chlorine at 60mg/L will kill all stages. No reference about freshwater, but drying for 24 hours will kill all stages as well.
