Can't seem to rid my tank of ICH every time the fish heal it seems to keep comming back. I have been using Microbe Lift Herbetina and it does not seem to help. Are there any proven meds that will not kill off the inverts?

Catch all the fish and quarantine it on separate tank. Let your display tank fish less for at least 8 weeks. Parasites will die off without host.Treat your fish with copper or hyposality. I dont think theres a reef safe treatment for ich. This is the safest and cheapest way.

Agree. There are no reef safe treatments. QT and let DT go fallow and you should be able to clear it up. How many fish and what size of fish will pretty much determine your QT size as well, or how many smaller tanks you need.

I lost about half of my fish to ick and I think I may have even had velvet also by not QTing a new fish
I was treating with NO ICK (should be called MORE ICH)
I was in the process of setting a couple of hospitol tanks to save what I had left when one of my yellow tang became covered with ich and fadeing fast the other tangs and angle also had it but not as bad
so in a panic I dumped in some ICH ATTACK this is stinky dark brown stuff It says on the bottle it wont discolor the water but it does a little
any way the next day the tang was doing better I continued the double the recommended treatment and the ich was completly gone in a week
I has been about 4 weeks now with no sign of ich
Every fish is now QTed efore it goes in the reef

I used the same stuff but bu Fish_Vet the only things it killed was $38.00 out of my bank account.

What has worked is Medicating there food once a day I use Focus & Metronidazole by Seachem. I guess the Focus helps the meds bond to the food. It has worked pretty good very good with no ill affects on the reef...

I also do a feeding with Brightwell Aquatics AminoOMega and GarlicPower this combo has worked wonders.

I also switched sea salts from Instant Ocean Reef Crystals to Red Sea Coral Pro..
