Hi everyone:

All the fish that i put on my aquarium dies the same way, the only ones that have survive has been the blenios that i brought from the beach, then i tried with a gramma, blue damselfish, and another kind of damselfish, but the blue damselfish and the gramma i bought them in a pet shop and they came infected( i'm almost sure is Cryptocarion irritans). What you guys think i should do before i buy another fish?, i know i have to lower the levels on nitrite & nitrate to 0. Should i take out the blennios and the anemones until i do that?, can i lower the leves with them inside? and why the bennios arent afected by the Cryptocarion irritans? because they are not stressed?. i'm sorry for all the questions but i'm new at salt water aquariums and i hate bringing fish to my house to watch them die . by the way i know is a beginners mistake, but my girlfriend has been the one that had the idea to buy all that, cause the aquarium is just 6 weeks old and here on dominican republic no one had the water tester, so i had to buy one from united state and i received it 2 weeks ago. What would you do in my case??. Thank you all in advance .

What i really need to know is if i have to empty my fish tank and start it all over again from zero to erradicate the Cryptocarion irritans, or if i can do that without taking out the living things on my fishtank. i blame my high levels of nitrite for the Cryptocarion irritans.
