I got ich iny aquarium about a month ago. I put ich attack and all my fish have died except two so far. I am not sure if its from overdosing my tank. Will start all over again in abiut six months. Need to mentally get over this. Is there a way to prevent ich besides a quarantine tank?

In short-No.A qt is an essential part of having a salt water aquarium IMO.As you learned the hard way reef safe meds do not work.Always try and get your live stock from reputable places that you know qt as well but you still need a qt at home.This is a way to make sure your new arrival is eating and in good health without harrasment from other fish in your aquarium.I know its prob not what you wanted to hear but it is the best way to do things.-Kieth
