Of course not...there are treatments for Ich that work.

I've started to soak her food in metronidozole will that take care of it? She eats really well, and is always looking for more food in the tank. I added a algae clip yesterday and she can't get enough of it.

Metro is not for the treatment of Ich.

You will need to use a copper based treatment like Cupramine; try hyposalinity; or my suggested cure would be to use Crypto Pro (Quinine Sulfate). All must be used in a hospital tank setup.

You can probably use the Crypto Pro in this tank, if no Corals or Inverts.
