Ich?

Fairly large white lump where blue meets yellow. I dont remember seeing it a couple of days ago. Little guy seems fine - no scratching or fast breating, eating and behaving normally.

that looks like lymphocystis to me. nothing to worry about. just keep up with good diet and water quality and it'll go away on its own.

I agree, its way too big to be ich. Ich is about the size of a salt grain.

Its definitely bigger than a grain of salt. I can see it from the top - meaning its not really flat but more round. Ive not really noticed any other symptoms either.

I don't say "definitely" with pics too often, but this is defiantly not ich, it has way too big. I agree wit Sandi54, I'm almost sure its lymphocystis. Google "marine ich' images; you'll get pics of very infected fish, but just look at one spot. Lympho is a virus, some think it flares up with stress. This will almost always disappear with good water, a good diet, and time.
