What are some symptoms of white ich? Have a clown that looks like she has sand on the upper portion of her back. Altho I don't believe it's ich, it has me curious as to knowing how to tell if your fish has ich?

There are literally TONS of threads articles and discussions on this topic. Just do a google search. It is unlikely in any case that you will be able to differentiate between ich and other similar maladies. If you didn't treat the fish it is extremely likely that it has ich or something else (brook, velvet).
