Ick....How do Remove thee......

Okay....I had a case of the icks....my tomatoe clown, my lion fish, my blue niger, ....My clown made it but It really ****ed me off that my Lion Fish of 3years, and my beautiful Niger trigger of 2 years are now in fish heaven. (Well actually the garbage can but....shhhhhh) (don't tell them.

Okay....I have it under control used meds......What I want to know is what causes it....? How do I prevent it...
