Ick in a blue hippo after a year in my tank?

Todays Update:
So I think I will be taking the blue hippo out of the tank, and transferring to QT. I still am not convinced this is Ich, but I what to get more aggressive with treatment. I have noticed a new set of pimples popping up. Again there has zero change in behavior. I will continue to update.....

I am open to suggestion. However my plan is Furan-2 for bacteria, General Cure for any odd parasitic disease, and copper for Ich.

Sounds like a plan. The quicker the better.

I wonder what, if any, has dropped off and is in the tank and where it is.

Hi Brian, I found this post through Google from last year and I have a couple of questions -

Oh, and by the way... I graduated high school in Winter Haven! Live in Branson, MO now but thought it was near that you happened to live so close to my old home.

Ok, on to my questions- My husband and I woke this morning to find our Blue Tang in the exact condition as yours in this feed! He was perfect last night and this morning... well, as you see it. Raised bumps and all!

Sooo, question 1. Did you ever find out what in the world this was? 2. Did he continue to get better? The photos look as though he/she did. 3. Someone in the feed mentioned a sting from a coral... we have a Toxic Frogspawn and he hangs out mighty close to it. He palls around with our two clowns and the frogspawn is "right there!"

My husband, like you, had tried to do everything to the letter and we, like you, are so discouraged by this today.

Any help/suggestions/advise is GREATLY APPRECIATED. I look forward to hearing from you.

Not sure I understand what taking him out and treating is going to accomplish if the rest of the fish in the tank aren't going to be treated?
