Ick Problem

My Kole tang has been demonstrating signs of Ick. He is difficult, if not impossible to catch. I have set up a QT tank that has not been cycled as of yet, set it up yesterday, barn door securely locked, horse nowhere to be found...
After much research I cannot find enough proven information to make me believe there is a safe chemical Ick treatment that will not damage my corals.
I only have a few corals...
1 - Trumpet Frag
1 - Bubble Frag
1 - Well established Purple Mushroom
1 - Well Established Colt Coral
1 - Well Established Conjoined Mushroom

I also have a Sebae Anemone

What if I out the coral in my QT tank and treat my show tank for Ick?
Any thoughts?

All these corals are still only on their mount and easily removed

If you're going to go to the trouble of removing corals, it might be easier to catch the tang. Is this the only fish in the tank? In either event, you need to wait until the Q tank is fully cycled. When you say chemical treatments, I'm guessing you mean the bottled "cures" like kick ich, stop-parasite, rally, etc..? Pretty much useless IMO/IME. You could treat the fish in the display using hyposalinity. If you move the fish to the QT, you could also use copper. Hypo is a safer bet IMO. If this is a 55 gallon, moving a bit of rock and using two nets should make the catch fairly simple.

All corals and live rock /sand will be out? after you get everything out then it's not that difficult to catch the fish then. Don't turn DT to QT because of side affect later. Meaning that you have to clean up your DT to get rid of chemical and do cycling all over again...

Thanks everybody for helping the newbie. I lost a couple of fish to this disease, the last one was my false percula. I took a shot and removed the fox face and Midas blenny and put them in my hospital tank, even though it wasn't cycled. Either way if I left them in the main tank I was convinced they were going to die. I watched my parameters and treated for the ich, and both are doing well. A hard lesson of stocking too fast and not quarantining learned.

What happened to the Kole Tang? My FO 90 gal tank got a bad case of ich after I introduced some CUC. 5/6 fish survived-unfortunately the Kole did not
