ick treatment

I was just at the show in Shamburg. I came across a booth called ruby reef and claimed to kill ick in a reef system with no problems for corals and inverts. The product is called kick ich. Has anyone used this product.

i have used it and it doesn't work, there is no treatment for ich that you can treat in the display tank. your options are copper, hypo, and tank transfer but all these treatments need to be done in a hospital tank and the DT left fishless for 8-10 weeks.

I did years ago, before I knew better, and wanted an easy way out. I spent over 200 dollars on the pepper water. In the end I lost most of my fish and went with coppersafe treatment in a hospital tank.

This stuff has been around for years and I've never heard of it working. I guarantee that when a reef-safe ich cure is found, everyone in the hobby will will know. As of now, there isn't one.
