New to sw reef keeping. I have a 15 gal nano reef with 3 soft corals 3 snails 1 coral banded shrimp and 1 clown fish. The clown fish now has ick. If i qt the fish how can i be sure to remove the ick from the main tank? Thank.

Please read the stickies. Your tank has ich, the clownfish is simply hosting ich for part of its life cycle. For the tank to be clean and ich free, it must remain fallow for 9 weeks. For your fish to be cured, there are three recommended treatments: tank transfer, copper, or hyposalinity. I can recommend either of the first two.
