Ok, i did a 2.5 g water change. Ph 8.2, 78 F, nitrates 10-15 ppm, nitrite 0, ammonia 0. I guess i will keep doing daily water changes to get the nitrates down a bit. the seaclone skimmer i have for that tank has a homemade gooseneck for HOB use, and it leaks. so if anyone has an old seaclone 75? or 100? lying around i might be interested in buying it off you for parts. I might try to rig up something with tubing first...
