ID a small crab anyone?

Hi folks
have had this little guy for a few weeks and seems to be reef friendly, any one know what it is and yes I know is a crab lol.

Incase you were not aware.. it's a crab. :bum:

It's a Xanthid species, not reef safe and may catch fish if hungry and given the chance. I'm leaning towards actually a clown crab but he's way too dark.

Put him in a sump or refugium, or give him to someone who'll do the same. He's a cool little crab, and it's not his fault somebody moved his rock into your tank. Could make a neat little fuge-pet, because he won't eat the copepods.

ok thanks he does look like Xanthid crab and looks like he will have to stay in my quarantine tank. Not his fault I got the rock he lived in when he was happy at sea lol.
