Id and flesh recession issue

Hi,

I purchased this as a lobophyllia. Is this Id correct?

I've also noticed that there is a little bit of flesh recessed and it's not really puffing up.

Parameters are stable
Alk 8
Cal 480
Mag 1350
pH 8.3
Nitrate non detect
Phosphate 0.25
Sal 1.025

Light are 2x AI primes on a 75 g mixed reef. I know I'm a bit under lit but everything else seems to be growing and thriving even at the bottom of the tank.

Any ideas?

Nothing? I moved it to a lower light and lower flow area under an overhang in the tank. Hopefully that helps.

It’s not doing well. The downward slide continues. It basically has it’s mouth wide open all day now and the flesh continues to recede.

Did you feed it? Turn the flow down or off and put some fish eggs, or some other kind of meaty something right on it. Mine's tentacles are out after lights out to just before lights on, but my memory is it will react anytime it's fed. I often use thawed Ocean Nutrition Angel Formula; it won't accept pellets.

My understanding is lobos have to be fed 2 to 3 days per week (despite all the posts about not needing to feed corals).

I've tried feeding mysis shrimp a few times during my daily feedings but he doesn't seem to take it in. I'm fearing the worst for it. I'll try to spray him with a tiny bit of food after lights out to see if he puts his feeders out. If he does I'll blast him. He's not looking good though.
