ID and placement

As far s the 1st pic brain of some sort.I added it about 1 week ago and has ot really opened except alittle at night..

What are you lighting your 75 with? The first looks like a Lobophyllia, the second looks like some plating montipora the common guess would be capricornus but it could be quite a few different ones like a montipora foliosa, basically a montipora.

Good plan, eventually it will appreciate direct light but wont need to raise it unless you wish to. The other one can be placed pretty much anywhere throughout the tank, although when placing new corals ESPECIALLY with T5 using individual reflectors I recommend starting them on the bottom, even my acros.

Btw, flow should dictate placement more than light for the plating monti. Although it can tolerat low-moderate flow it will appreciate high flow more than high light, although ideally both would be present.

Ok I've moved the monti uphalf way{its been there about 2 weeks}low flow mid light.
I'll move the lobo/brain? out a bit more tomorow.
