Got this fella from a friend tearing down his tank. Came in on a piece of rock and he said it never moved so he kept it, he had for about 8 yrs, never split. I have had about 6 months, and it never moves. Likes the sand. Thanking you in advance.
I think it is more likely a H. malu. They can be very similar to H. crispa but tentacle counts is lower and tentacles much shorter near the center than on the peripheral. My Malu look just like that.
