ID crab. Reef safe?

This crab hitchhiked in on a live rock. What type of crab is it? If it reef safe? Thank you.

Kinda reminds me of a baby stone crab. Not sure they are fuzzy though when babies. If in doubt, remove. Not worth the risk normally.

After some research I have decided it is a type of Xanthid crab. I found another beneath a rock while capturing the first crab, along with a carnivorous whelk. Upon further inspection I discovered a mound of dead snails in a small pit. Flush goes the culprits.
