ID disease in pics please. Cloudy eye, fin rot

I'm trying to rescue these fish from a friend. They're in bad shape. I'm thinking it's brooklynella because the fins have turned opaque and also rotting away. the bodies have a white haze like in brooklynella but it's not milky.

the eyes are turning opaque white.
i'm treating with formalin and copper sulfate
