ID help needed

Cool, thanks guys, thats what i was thinking.
When i asked the price for this "acan" they told me ithey thought it was a micro. I was waiting for them to give me some outrageous price but when it was less than $100, i was pretty sure it was an acan. Dont have much experience with them so wasn't sure though.

I wish my camera or 10k lights could do it justice, it is pretty nice!

hey did you get that from exotic aquatic? there was a couple there that looked exactly like that in the show tank. BTW they are a species of Acanthastrea, probably echinata.

Good call!

Yes, it did come from the show tank at Exotic Aquatic. It looked alot better under your lights but it still is pretty sweet in my tank. My camera just REALLY sucks!

If I had a bigger tank, i would have made you guys sell me that HUGE green carpet and frogspawn in there as well, lol!

cool, that is a really nice piece you got there. if you give it time, it will color up nicely. i don't think rob would sell the frogspawn and carpet to you or anyone for that matter, he has had both of them for MANY years, but i guess everything has its price. lol good luck with it!
Josh

great piece, be careful it could sting nearby corals. i agree definately acan. echinata nice piece

What would you guys recommend for feeding?

I have some homemade food of shrimp, scallops, clam, mussels and squidd chopped up and frozen for my sun coral in my small tank. Should i try feeding it that?
