ID Help, Please

Found this in a tidal pool during low tide. Initially thought it was some type of soft coral, but in the morning it had sprouted tentacle-looking tubes. That made me think it was an anenome, but my banded coral shrimp and fish have not been harmed. Plus, I can't find any kind of mouth on it. I appreciate your help, and sorry about the sideways pic.

It looks like the top of a Toadstool coral.
