ID help

Here is the description. It didn't post with the images:
I always have to preface these posts by assuring people that I have looked online, looked all the way through the 'Lions Lair' and other ID threads on this forum. I can only think of a strawberry anemone but I think it's some snail type thing.

It is the size of the tip of a pen--or those little plastic protectors they put on the tip of a brand new pen. It's a tiny white shell and if he's startled he'll retract quickly and I can't see a thing. If he emerges he is bright red with some tiny tentacle looking things that fan out and a darker spot in the middle.

The attached pics are one of his shell when he's hiding and then one when he's out.

Please post a better picture if you can..
It looks horribly grainy/low resolution on a computer (probably looks fine but small on taptalk though)

What I can see looks like a tube worm to me..

I have loads of these, had them IDed as tube worms in the critters thread.

I'll get my camera and macro out tonight. That was just a bad cell phone shot. I thought tube worms had a longer tube. This guy has a small shell.

These shots are better but still not great. I didn't have my tripod and had to crank up the ISO because the room was getting dark so the images are noisy. But this is what it looks like.

Definitely looks like a feather duster worm. They are filter feeders and great to have in a tank!

I love the thought of this being a baby feather duster! I find all these little things almost more interesting than fish!
