I'm trying to get a pic for you guys, but here is the gist...

Think of an octopus skirt...no tentacles no head. Like a large, flat, round slug. Best guess so far is about the size of your thumb and index finger touching. Purplish with light colored spots all over. It moves quite a bit, but not fast, again like a slug or snail. It is sitting in the caves of the rock and completely covering it all the way around.

I don't know if this helps..but I am trying to get a decent shot of it.

Do nudis get this big? Sorry there isn't a size referece...

Best I can do for now...he runs from the light. Any ideas? If it helps, I would guess he came in on Fiji rock about 4 months ago. Either that or he has been growing in there for about two years and this is the first time I've seen him.

I've lost several smaller, slower moving fish that have never been found. I thought they might have jumped, but I also noticed some black worms. I am in the process of pulling the rock out to kill off the worms, when I found this guy.

large flatworm....there are many types of these so determining the exact species would be rather difficult. Regardless...one's this large are known to be predatory. Here is a link to Melev's reef, the flatworm page. There is a flatworm ID on that that lookssimilar to yours.
