Great pic, just not enough of it. We need to see the body and telson. My first quess from the pic would be G. falcatus. Check Dr. Roy's list, could also be G. glabrous or G. graphurus, G. ternatensis.
There is only one Gonodactylaceus with that color of greenish yellow meral spot and that is G. falcatus. It is a common reef flat species from Hawaii to East Africa.
thanks Roy! I have been unable to get a "full body" shot of this guy. he likes to play peek-a-boo and do a nice display out of his hole when you walk by but pretty much refuses to leave whatever burro he is currently residing in. I was hoping the meral spot would help in the ID.
