OK. I have been finding lots of weird stuff in my 6 month old aquarium. Using Melev's site, I identified stomatella as the odd night dwelling snail-like guys hanging out on my rock at night.
Yesterday, my wife found something odd, which I thought was a sponge. It is black, and about the size of two pencil erasers stacked end to end. She poked it, and it retracted slightly.
This morning, it was on a different rock, and it moved a bit when we poked it.
If I was to describe it, I would say it looked like a mole, like a person might have on their arm. It is about 3/4" tall, and about 1/4" diameter.
It kinda looks like a bunny turd.
Any ideas?
