the naming specificly is causing me some trouble. as well as availability and general details on how they might jive.

I have a 75g tank, for the time being lets assume it has absolutely no flow(cause it doesnt :( )

I want 1 stop service to barebottom flow with the potential to support SPS.

my problem is, I dont know what that will require. I am sincerely hoping I can get away with 2 units.

Id like a multicontroller for sure I think... seems the best way to get the most out of whatever I get for now and the future.

but what to plug into it?

so we come to my original question, the links I shall reference are

http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=TZTS21

obviously that is the TS21

but then various other sites list that as being TS14? if the TS14 does exist, what is the difference?

furthermore, the 6101, worth even worrying about? 40$ more per stream I guess? whats a guy to do if he needs it now, not next month?

so then we come on to the 6055? perhaps this might be a good stop gap till the 6101, might a 75 gallon tank be good with a 6055 and a 6101 more so than 2 6000's?

and the 7045 controller, does it also control the 6055?

anyone want to just wack me on the head and say "this is what you should do you idiot!"

Both are made up names by dealers we do not offer a TS14 or TS21 Kit. TS14 would be more techincally correct since the names come from the maximum lph in thousands and 2 6000 can do 14000 lhr.

If you need it now I would say that Tunze is not an option at this time, we are hundreds of pumps behind and while they have started shipping pretty substantial quantities again, it would still be a few weeks before you can get them most likely. The 6055 has a much longer back order than the 6000s. The 6101 will replace the 6000 sometime in late June/ early July. It is possible if you order 6000's they will have to upgrade you 2 6101 as they will be cancelled as soon as 6101 production begins. All of thes pumps work with the 7095.

I would order 6000's and with luck they will come in and your order will be filled in a few weeks, it is also possible that the 6101 may show up early and your dealer will call and ask if you would mind upgrading to the 6101.

well if Im waiting a few weeks either way. is there a best way to just preorder the 6101's?

I dont think you guys sell direct, but any dealers youd suggest that could preorder them? Id hate to order 6000s now, and actually get 6000's the day before the 6101's come.

and can 2 of them provide enough of a diffused movement to keep 75gallons well circulated? only other movement is the mag 9 return pump which isnt running at full blast.

If you want 6101's I would contact Reef Exotics or Premium Aquatics or Aquarium Specialty or any of the smaller dealers, but it is possible the release could be delayed so keep that in mind.
