No, that isn't a bristle worm. It looks more like a little cucumber.

Broccoli thanks for the link I think it's a scale worm now. anyone else have a hunch?. Just wondering if it would munch on sps I have had a strange pathway of tissue missing from one of my corals. similar to a snail trail. I thought this guy might be the culprit.

Sorry, I somehow missed the email notification

I think most of them are carnivores, eating similar sized invertebrates. I've always left them in tank and have never seen them harm larger invertebrates. But there are probably huge number of species so I would keep eye on them
