I have a lot of this growing on the bottom of my tank and growing up some rocks. Sometimes I think its attacking my hermits and other times not. What is this? Is it ok? I have a lot of it!!!

Of the two pics, the one against the astrea shows the 'arms?' are clearly striated. The second pic shows the stalk? growing out of the sand bed against the glass, could be clearer. Both of these are from an iPhone on max magnification.

Yep, spaghetti worm. Harmless little beastie. If they're hungry, they sometimes try to grab things, but they simply aren't dangerous to anything larger than a copepod. You may have a large number of them due to overfeeding.

coincidently, this guy was roaming around on the glass, making a picture pretty easy. This is a spaghetti worm out of its hole right? Pretty easy to see where it gets its name.
