hey guys
this thing is growing on one of my rocks
is this some type of macroalgae or something else?

can you describe it more? is it hard? does it sway in the flow? i assume there are no polyps on it?

its pretty soft to touch....its connected to the rock so it doesnt move....it does sway from side to side from the flow though.....when i got the rock i thought it was some dead plant and i was gonna pull it out but it started growing so its alive for sure.....it looks like branches of some kind....no polyps...im pretty sure its not a coral because ive been curing my rock in the dark for 3 weeks now and its still growing.... any ideas?

Looks like 'daisy' polyp stems(like mine) but the pics are alittle blury, guessing HTH
