Trying to narrow down ID's on some wild colonies from Fiji.
I got 11 colonies, 1 DOA, 1 DOA next day, 9 survived. Had them since May, so hopefully they should look like they are going to. :)
Shipper said that out of the 11, there were 6 species.
A. Latistella, A. paniculta, A.Gemmifera, A.humilis,A. palmerae,and A. Subulata.
Took some pics with a underwater camera, seemed to show the best images.

1 & 2 look the same to me, slightly differant color.
Either Latistella or Subulata ?
3. Gemmifera or Hmilis ?
4,5,6 Look the same ?
7 & 8 Look the same, slightly differant color ?
9.?

Any help would be great. Got the best pics with out a flash, but camera died after I found that out. Most are done flash free, if you need better pics can get some more on Tues.

TIA,

Todd

1 & 2 are looking like A millepora, maybe prostata if they branch out more. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0047
3. Is probably the A. humilis. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0035
4, 5, & 6 Might be the A. gemmifera. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0030
7 & 8 could be A. subulata. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0073
9. Could be A. latistella if it grow into a table, but the branches are kinda thick. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0039

I did not see any that were even close to A paniculata or A. palmerae.

Thanks all, the paniculta and palmerae might be the DOA's, I think I have a pice of 1 before it RTN'ed.
