id needed

I noticed this small round purple colored ball growing in the back wall of my tank. A few days ago I noticed that it had electric red colored spots all over it.
It's pretty cool looking whatever it is.
It's about 1/2" in dia.

Anyone care to id. it?

Found these growing in a corner.

Looks to me like Red Bubble Algae. Very pretty but can become pretty invasive. The brightly colored spots are probably just new growth

I doubt the spots are new growth as they are on the bubbles themselves. The spots aren't growing.

exactly this, red bubble algae. green bubble algae is known as valonia, red is "red valonia", that link makes it sound terrible but it's no worse than regular green bubble algae..

Bubble algae can be a bit annoying. Gently remove the bubbles without popping them and you should be able to reduce the amount of spores.
