ID odd creature

on my monticap, there are 2 blackish tube like areas that are sticking out of the coral..(it was like that when i bought it) well everyday theres a long thin strand of white stuff coming off this part of the coral, well upon further investigation, i noticed there are 2 little creatures coming from the opening at the end of each black part... 2 tiny antennaes and what seems to be like one big eye ball.. it retracts when anything comes near.. heres a pic

any thoughts? thanks

Vermetid snails. 2 antennae & what looks like an eyeball is the center of the operculum which the snail uses to seal the tube against predators.

it also makes the perfect place to add a dab of crazy glue too...

though they are great filter feeders i found them to constantly annoy corals to the point the corals would not extend polyps..death to them all now...
