ID of eggs on glass.

My first thought was cerith eggs, but the pattern is different than what I have been able to find.

Any ideas?

Do you have any types of Nassarius snails in there?

Yes, two different species.

Forget their names but one is the common half inch sized the other is about an inch maybe a bit more.

I'm pretty sure the eggs you have pictured come from the larger "Tongan " nassarius snails. The smaller ones leave little 1/8 inch capsules.

They were sold to me as Tongan, now you mention the name it clicked.

i had some nassarius snails who but what looks like the same thing on my tank, then my yellow tang ate them.

gotta love those tongans. Its like owning a mini conch....but without the rock and coral tumbleing problems.
