I recently discovered this anemone in my aquarium:

Since I have found 4-5 more. They seems to grow solitary and not in direct light.
If you could help to get an ID, and tell me if they will cause any problems I would be grateful :)

It looks like a small hairy mushroom to me (maybe a Rhodactis). If so, it's harmless.

How does that fit with it growing solitary and in low light (none of them grow in direct light)?

I will just show another picture of these small colorful anemones (difficult to get a picture that illustrates the colors):

I don't think it is Rhodactis since I never have seen them grow in colonies (as Rhodactis do) only solitary - but at the same time they grow/divide rather quickly.

Recently I killed some of them by injecting a very small volume 30% HCl into their body, not because they caused any problems, just to be sure I can control them if they should be identified as a problem. They have beautiful color but I would really like to have an ID so I could search to see if they can cause any problems.

Could it be some sort of Beaded anemone and do they live solitary?

Stichodactyla tapetum - mini carpet anemone.

some people may consider them as a pest because they split pretty quick.

I used to have one in my breeding tray but it splits into 3 in 3 days so i end up throw it away for a piece of mind.

Thanks for the ID, I should probably kill the rest then. Although they look beautiful, I fear they could grow out of control.
