ID of this brown fuzzy worm

I have a new creature in my tank, Never there before.

It is about 1 1/2 inches long, brown, fuzzy short hair I think, have not touched it yet.

It is on the glass at the moment. I am trying to get picture.

Any one know what this is, and should I get rid of it.

Frank

Local fish store syas that it could be a brisle or cucumber. Have been looking at pictures and I can't find this animal.

lol

To me it looks like a brown blob.

The photo needs to be a little clearer for anyone to help...even at 8.33% it's still difficult to tell but it doesn't APPEAR to be a bristleworm. Can you take a pic a little farther away and maybe with the macro button on?

Here are some better photos, BIG FILE High Res

I object was stuck to the glass pretty well. It is hard like rock though

Ahh...that is a better pic.

How does it move around, how fast does it move?

1 and a half inches...hmmm.

Don't get rid of it just yet...in the past I've lost some desireable animals because I jumped the gun.

Would you mind if I try posting this pic in another forum to see what others have to say?

Sure feel free to post where ever you think.

Didn't see it move, just it was not there last night, and now it is.

Had to come hidden in live rock, or dead rock that I purchased from LFS.

I removed it from the tank. If it is not disturbed for a while, it will stick to the botom of the contaner. other than that what you see is it

From what I can tell, it looks the same all the way around.

Looking at the photo, the red hair that is sticking out, seems to be sticky.

To me it looks like some sort of cucumber...but I'm still waiting for a response in the other forum. Try to keep it alive though as you might regret not putting it back in the tank if it dies and is a potential "good guy."
