ID on these critters

Hi,

A guy at a Norwegian forum is asking what these critters are. With his permission I post his picture here. I guess some sort of flatworms...

The ones on the rocks in the bottom pic look like they have some thickness, i.e., too much thickness for flatworms. But, best I can tell, they are just white dots. You'll probably have to get a pic with some resolution of the critters to get a real ID.

I don't have any other pictures, but I can tell you what he said about the dimensions of the animals:

"The tank has been running for 1,5 years, and the critters started to emerge two weeks ago. They are oval in shape, about 3 x 2 mm and about 1,5 mm high (concave). They are easily removed and when dried they crumble very easily."

I assume they have some sort of outer shell. From his description they sound like some sort of barnacles to me.
