id on things in tank

i was looking at my live rock, checking for signs of hitch hikers in my newly established aquarium. I have noticed these small white things on the rock all over the place. To me(unexperienced eye) they seem to appear as snail shells.

they are curly white snails. I dont have a camera except my camera phone but they are too small to see. If anyone thinks they know what im talking about post a picture if u have one. ill check it out.

i think they might be Spirorbid Worms. Are those reef-safe?

they sound like colony feather dusters they spread all over but there not bad. they are real small and are like spiraled up if you look closely you should see a very very small fan coming out of the big end they are common and natural nothing toworry about but if they do get out of hand i belive arrow crabs eath them or some kind of crab not to sure what one thow i'll take a pic of some of mine and post it up and you can tell me if thats what your talking about.

there hard to see but are you talking about the white things on the powerhead?

yeah that might be them. i know its very hard to seem them and they are spiraled.
