ID on waterborne junk

Hey folks,

For the last few days, I have noticed that every time I mix a fresh batch of saltwater (I just recently switched to Kents), I get this crap floating in the water and I mean a TON of it. I have no idea what it is or where it's coming from, but my concern is that it is dangerous for the tank.

The stuff in the cup in the picture is just a fraction of it that I pulled off the surface. I'm storing water in 5 gallon covered buckets and it's clean until I mix it. Any ID would be great. Is this from the salt or is there some kind of crap finding its way into the water? It's slimey when you get it on your finger. Almost looks like some kind of algae, but I don't know how that's possible. RODI system with Kents Reef Salt. Mixed in a 5 gallon bucket with heater and powerhead

I had some of the same stuff with IO Reef Crystals. Made my salt holding tank look crappy. Harmless I think as I did a 30G water change with it and still have crystal clear water and happy corals.
