ID please- LFS just sent me pic/ trying to ID

Acan, blasto or micro? I think I'm going to buy it. $40, great price, just have to see it in person. Would like an ID though, I've never seen this morph before.

From the pic you cant tell if it'scoralite walls are seperated or not?Without a clear pic it could be a favia or favites also.

that looks like an Acanthastrea Echinata to me

It's an Acanthastrea, still debating if I should buy it or not. $110 not $40. Would be nice to get an Echinata, I have 3 different kinds of acan lords already.

if it is an Acanthastrea (and thats a big IF from that photo) then it has a growth pattern most similar to echinata and subechinata. Without seeing skeleton, no way to tell if its acan, favia, favites, etc. If you like it enough to pay that money for it, regardless of what Kind it is, then go for it. If you dont.. then dont pay out. FWIW, that pic looks extremely touched up to me, so check it out in person for sure. If you get it, and it is that color, post up a few new pics, eh?
