well, the fairly vague guess is that they're some kind of scallop- but jeez, how cool that they're in your fuge! are they multiplying?
 
Those are a type of scallop, and yes they are a good thing. They may get slightly larger than that but most do not. If you have them in your fuge, then you probably have them in your main tank as well. They will walk around your tank until they find someplace they like. Usually in some hole in your live rock.

Hi,

Actually, this is a type of mussel. Considering their small size and not knowing their origin, can't say for sure which species. They certainly seem to be doing well in your tank. Are they still growing larger or are these full size?

Certain mussels are invasive species throughout the US, namely the zebra mussel. They have become quite a problem...a search on Google will turn up a wealth of information about them.
