anyone know what it is? there's lots of coraline growing everywhere, but alot of this algae too.

here's a few spots of it growing on my overflow

I think zdawgnight might be right. Coralline algae comes in different colors, not just pink/purple.

That looks pretty cool. Something the HULK might have been built out of almost. Looks like that stuff you would see on lace rock at the LFS.

You didn't, by any chance, add any NSW to your tank? Friend of mine north of Tampa used some NSW from the Gulf and has that stuff all over his tank. He seems to think it came with the NSW.

I just started using NSW a few weeks ago, but I've had this algae for months now.

Could be just coraline along with the others have said. I have some "other" colored stuff that seems to be coraline also...
