Pretty sure it's not a trach, if it were then it'd be easy as theres only one specie now, according to Veron

But that appears to be a symphillia but theres 5 or so specie and I would just be guessing more blindly than I am with the genera Quite possibly a lobophyllia too, but I'll stick with my first guess

Ill 2nd Justin74; really doubt its a Trachyphyllia. More likely some kind of mussid (lobo, symphyllia, etc)

wow, a symphyllia or carpet lobophyllia, first time i heard of those names. i'll post a more updated pic. maybe we can ID it better. the 1st pic was when i just placed it inside the tank. it has gotten a bit bigger now. thanks guys!
