Coral reef farm is my LFS(GREAT store by the way!) and i have seen that Bowerbanki there for awhile. They had 3 of them and all are VERY nice! I wanted it really bad but just didnt have the room for them in my tank, they were pretty big.

Can't really tell the size of yours from the pic but it looks a little smaller than the ones that they had and were asking $300-350 for them.

That's about right depending on the coloration.

Theirs is a little bigger than yours and had really nice green mouths and streaks. Can't really tell from your pic but it looks like yours has some green around the mouths as well.

Yeah, its sick. This thing takes downa whole cube of mysis in about 5 minutes. Just wondering b/c someone was at my house and thats what they wanted, so I figured there was a reason.

Definately a bowerbanki, very nice also. Love the colors! I just passes one up yesterday. Light yellow with some pink and purple. It may eventually color up, and then I would kick myself! I couldn't pass up a aussie acan lord howe colony though. 6" x 3.5" purple with neon green mouths, $300. A corals price is really up to the buyers and if you like it, buy it. I have a couple of aussie acans sitting next to an average lime green favia. One was a h#(( of a sight more, but I enjoy them. If you get tired of it and are suffering from buyers remorse, I'll be glad to relieve of it!

;)

wait a few weeks itll be even nicer. we got the same exact thing at the LFS i work at... except ours is about 9x9". itll turn turquoise and teal. very nice

I am sure you would! I think I will be ok.... how much light flow do you think I should give it?

Low light, sand bed or bottom rock work. Low flow, maybe intermittenly higher. Of course if it starts to fade lighter in color change the placment somewhat. Also if it starts to look irratatted by the amount of flow shield it somewhat. I have some favia's and acan's that like more than others, I just watch their reactions to the enviromental conditions.

G' luck with it, it really is a gorgeous piece. I haven't taken a pic of my new addition yet, but here is a link...

well, a little color has faded from when I originally bought it, but it was under 400 20k metal halides and my tank has a t5 mix. But is already grown over where it was cut, so I think its doing good....

^ Nice piece as well. I had to comment as I love acans. I don't care what species, I like them all. My new tank will more than likely end up being a acan garden.

Hello my name is Bill........and yes........I am an addict......
