So this is the first thing in 3 weeks that I have seen in my tank that I did not put in there. I was starting to think I got no hitch hikers on my rock. It looks like a clam of some sort. It is climbing up my glass anyone know what it is..??

I took 3 pics this is the only one that came out.

is it common for bivalves to crawls up and down the glass.? He is actually trying to get on my powerhed right now.

I know I know I am too excited about my clam.

But...

I now have 3 very small clams all climbing up my glass. Could I be having some sort of clam explosion..

its always so exciting to find the first signs of life in your tank, untill one turns into nine thousand!

Neat, I don't believe bivalves survive well in our tanks tho. I have no idea why they are climbing up your glass.

Many bivalves have a foot they can "crawl" with. I have never seen one climb glass though.

I had the same thing in my tank. I was wondering what it was. It climbed right up the glass by my powerhead.
