Can anyone give me an ID on this SPS

Thanks
Gary

You can't ID that (baby) Acro to species just yet. You need to let it grow out some. You can tell it's an Acropora because it has terminal polyps. (Each "branch" has a polyp growing from it's end. Compare to Montipora or other SPS that have no terminal polyp.)

you think its just a baby? I thought It was some sort of encrusting acro. Well either way I like it I will see what it turns into. Thanks Gary

no actually it does look like that but this coral is only about 2.5 inches in dia and has a skeletal growth similar to a favia.

I think we have a winner. """ Leptastrea pruinosa"""" as far as I can tell.
anyways It was in the shop for about 2 weeks I just had to take it home.
