Hopefully this isn't totally n00b. I believe this is Aptasia but I am just slightly skeptical because of it's brilliant green color and slightly bulbed tips. Most aptasia I've seen (and I've seen lots UGH) does not look like this. None the less these 2 are quite small both an inch or less. They haven't moved since I first noticed them and definitely HH in with some Zoa's.

Can anyone confirm my suspicions or is there any possibility this is something else?

I should also note I HATE aptasia... that being said I kinda like these guys haha /sigh

Majano anemones. Can become pests like aiptasia. Watch them, they don't populate as quickly as aiptasia do

Looks like manjanos to me.

Majano anemones. Definitely a pest. I have seen them spread as fast as aiptasia can in a friend's tank. I'd recommend getting an aiptasia killer (aiptastia x, etc) and getting rid of them asap.

Thanks for the replies I agree with the assesment, I have some aptasia killer. I've only used it in large tanks any idea if a small volume like 5g could be affected chemically? Should I run carbon or do a wc after application?
