ID please?

I noticed yesterday lots of white things floating in my tank very small about the size of a grain of salt and today there are 30+ of them on the back of my spec. They sort of look like minny featherdusters but the thing is I don't have featherdusters in the tank.

not the slime, thats actually from the colorful stick i got from you i mean the little white things they look like the house of small featherdusters.

Have a bunch of little feather dusters with red fans in my tank, they just sprang up one day. Don't seem to be a nuisance.

yeah but if they are tiny feather dusters then where did they come from? i dont have any in this little tank i dont even have live rock.

maybe a piece of frag plug or frag rock had a feather duster that decided to spawn... or maybe from a clam or other livestock... think of them as tiny hitchhikers.

Not sure what you have in your tank at the moment, just an idea.

Maybe since the livestock was in my biocube before I decided to put in the spec to try out the lights, to say the truth they work very good I have seen around 4 different new growths on the bright green Formosa stag frag I got from Grant around 1/4" in size.
