Hello,

can you help me with this little mantis shrimp?
He is from Sulawesi and 20-25 mm.

I guess H. glyptocercus but i`m not sure.
Which Haptosquilla is this?

Where in Germany are you located and what pet store did you get that from? I live in Heidelberg myself.

I live near by Nuremberg and i get all my animals from Transmarine in Nuremberg.

Oh cool, never heard of that place but I may have to make the trip there to see what they have. Do you specially order all of your stuff or are they all hitch-hikers?

Some are hitchhikers and some are ordered, but you don´t find mantis shrimps there.
They order these animals specially for customers.

So you just go in and tell them what you want and they get it for you? How long does it usually take to arrive?

yes and it takes 2-3 weeks.

I like O. scyllarus, P ciliata and L. maculata!
