This is one I got without writing down what it is. I know it's way small, but some of its 'habit' is in the photo: its polyps are somewhat lined up.

I'd appreciate some educated guesses. Thanks!

Looks like it could be some kind of Tort? Hard to tell from such a small frag.

That would be interesting. I don't have anything close to that type. I'd be pleased as can be if it were. It started off with two dead branches and didn't extend polyps, but now it does, and the longest arm is definitely growing.

I'll file those names away. I know it's not one I have, because the growth pattern is different, so that lets out valida and aculeus.
